So our esteemed fat controller's genius piece of policy to get the country back on track as it lumbers into potentially the worst recession for 70-odd years is to give free computers and internet access to thsoe who can't afford it!

So whilts i and many others go out to work our butts off to pay for our own way, he wants to give the same things to those who would rather waste their money on other more 'important' things like flat screen plasma tv's , cigarettes, booze..etc.

Labour is no longer the party of the working man but the party of the lazy, idle and those couldn't give a shite!

Even worse is the companies that end up getting the contracts to provide these computers. A friend of mine was dyslexic and received a free computer to "help" with his studies.

They sent him the spec sheet, and for a basic computer it cost nearly £3000!!!! He wrote to the council and asked if he could choose his own components for the same money, from a different supplier. They agreed. He ended up with the most amazing computer (with graphics card), an MP3 so he could record lectures, £100 set of headphones etc etc just becase he couldnt think what else to spend the money on.

It then became apparent how many students were actually claiming these, who already had a PC or were perfectly capable of purchasing their own.
