Kwacky:No one seemed bothered when the large Yammy tent blew over
Spudda:That looked a little nasty - I guess people would've been sheltering from the rain in that as well
The last blast from Mother Nature — which packed 50-mile-per-hour
wind gusts and heavy rain — not only ended the race, but also partially
destroyed a Yamaha display tent in the infield. Two fans were
transported to Methodist Hospital with injuries that weren’t
life-threatening, according to an Indianapolis Motor Speedway
spokesman. With other tents in the proximity buffeted by dangerously
high winds, police cordoned off the tent area after the race was over.
