Pit HelpWanted for Mallory HMRC Endurance (14th Sept)

Our mechanic / helper can't make the Mallory HMRC Endurance race on 14th September.  Anyone on here willing to help out?

The main duties are wheel changing, petrol filling and swapping the transponder - also if we do have any crashes or mechanical problems, being able to help get back on the track is kindof helpful Yes

    HI Martin

It's possible I may be able to come along as a helper. I was thinking of coming along to take some photos anyway work permitiing.

I'm not a mechanical numpty but equally i'm no expert either.Big Smile I could manage a wheel change as long as you don't need a super quick turn around!

I can't guarantee just yet though. Anyone else what to come along to help?

Kwacky, D63, if you are definitely coming, PM me your addresses and I'll send you a ticket to get in.  To be honest, most of the time there isn't too much for the mechanic(s) to do.  Standard is swapping the transponder, re-fuelling, passing messages to the pitboard and changing wheels if the weather changes.  It all gets a bit more frenetic if there is an off or a mechanical failure, when it is all hands to the pump.  D63 (I must find out your real name!) you should have loads of time to get some good pics.

Trev will be at Mallory overnight and I'll arrive about 7am to get me and bike scrutineered.  Practice / qualifying starts at 9.30.  So just let me know what time you plan to arrive.

You don't really need to bring anything. We have tools etc with us. Any time you can make would be good - but I guess 8 ish would be ideal.

I'll be in the middle of moving into my parents until our house is ready - so doubt I can get away for a whole day without being murdered on my return for leaving it all with Katie to do.

However, I do plan to try and pop up and watch for as long as I can get away. Hopefully an hour or two.
