I did the indy circuit a couple of years ago, on the RAT day.

Reminds me very much of Rockingham.

Have you done Brands before?  I've not been and was wondering what it's like.  Would it be worth a trek from the Midlands?

I did an evening session last year and all I could say for a week was "mmmm Paddock Hill Bend". Awesome track nearly every corner is off camber and the bike is only vertical for a few seconds each lap. Not been on the full GP yet.

Well worth the trek from Brum but then I'm the kind of idiot that rides to Cadwell and back in a day from London.

Does anyone know the day layout, how many groups how much track time?

Am interested in doing Brands after listening to ket going on about it. Would rather do the whole day though if theres not much tracktime.

Can't quite remember it's was at least 3 20 minute sessions but might of been 4.

I'm booked up for the evening. Still places left for both the day and evening sessions.

I've gone in the novices group but if the inters are not full of numb nuts I might change up on the day.

i'm gonna give that some serious thought.. i just need to work out if i can afford it, need new tyres and front pads before taking to the track again

I've always fancied the gp circuit.

If I'm going to do it I want to do it on a track bike and not my road bike. I've seen that Focused Events do a good deal of £350 for the event and bike hire - so I'll probably do it with them when I do it. they've got a couple of dates - 4th and 25th of September.

I would love to do the gp circuit but i think that will have to wait until next year.. my bank accounts been raped over the last couple of weeks, new kitchen, car had to have the clutch replaced and the bike needs new tyres and front brake pads [:'(]

The track evening may have just got the approval of the wife though... gonna badger my two mates who where going to come the the silverstone evening and see if they would be up for it...

If i was going to do Brands it would have to be the full circuit.

The Indy layout is little more than a loop even if it does have Paddock Hill Bend...to go all that way for a trackday it would need to be the whole track.
