    'Busa and gearbox issues

I got a guy at work who is complaining about his gearbox.  Said it seems a bit notchy and rough.  Does anyone know if this is a normal Busa/Suzuki trait?

There's one good thing to come out of this - he's gonna let me have a go to see what I think about it.

Not tried it yet - but he says he sometimes struggles to get it in gear. Even when coming down from 6th to 5th he struggled. He has some warranty on it (its an old style Busa - but bought from a dealer  and got a warranty) so I told him to get tthem to sort it - but he wanted other opinons.

Its got a hydraulic clutch. That's all I know. I pulled on it at standstill and it seemed ok.  It did rev higher though when it was pulled fully in, despite being in neutral. Thought that was odd, but the engine was cold and the choke on. I dunno.  I told him Triumph boxes were notchy too - so I'd have a good idea how bad his was, by if it was worse than mine.

Suzuki gearboxes are generally the smoothest, slickest on the market.

    No and no. Geeked

Not had a go yet. He works on the shop floor so often I dont see him and he leaves before me.

I've not been on much as a combination of busy and just had not much to say. Not even for spamming purposes. Been too busy trying to find a  house as we gotta leave ours in about 3 weeks, and we still aint found anywhere to go. Sad
