    Donnington Park New Layout

I wonder if there will still be spectators in the infield as I believe there is a new paddock going in the infield as well as the new section of track and assiocated run off.

Racing is everything, anything before or after is waiting

I still find it hard to believe this will all happen in less than two years. Donington is disorganised at the best of times...and where are they going to get the money from in the current economic climate?

I still think that the foggy esses will be sadly missed from a biking point of view. A flat out kink might be good for F1 but not so interesting for bikes.

I guess at least they are keeping Craners.

Even if they manage to get all the track and traffic management sorted out I can't see the staffing, camping and spectator facilities improving that much in a few years!

They were talking about doing it so they can provide more track configurations in future. I assume one configuration will be going straight on where the current foggy esses are and not using either of the loops but barrelling down the old pit straight.

The thing is that Silverstone has more configurations than you can shake a stick at but it's still very very very dull.
