East coast just north of the wash and south of Skeg.

I've not been but it seems to be quite a big night and includes trade stalls and the like.

I doubt it then - by the time I got there, I'd have to come straight back.

Its a port on the Wash, sort of opposite Hunstanton, ...have been to the last two, rain put a lot of folk off last year but the previous year was packed, like Matlock Bath on a hot day!! lots of variety, trade stalls, race teams flogging merchandise (Vivaldi were there among others), a few bike dealers.. the Harley/Buell guys from Uppingham are normally there its really a Lincs/Cambs/Norfolk affair.

Sounds a good bash, shame it is on a thursday, and not a weekend.

I managed to pop in on this for ten mins but I was on my way back from Reading and a bit knackered.

Looks like a good meet though. It was heaving and I thought I was going to get blocked in the bike park. The thing I noticed is that it was full of a good range of bikes and people - from cruisers and Harleys to the classics and sports bikers. Friendly atmos and plenty to see and do.

I might try and plan going for real next year.

Any idea when Barton Bike Night is this year? I couldn't find it on the Lincolnshire bike night site.

One for the calendar is in a few weeks at Cadwell Park. Looks like I'm going to miss that one as well though - I think I've got to be in Solihull that day Sad

I am so sorry for you.  Having to put  up with scummy brummies.  I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemies, lol.

It's more the journey than the place.

I'm in two minds whether to go by bike or car. If I can find a half decent route I might go by bike

It was heaving, threatened rain failed to materialise and I didn't take my camera just in case it did, must have been near on 600 bikes in the market area and many hundreds more in the roadways, one unfortunate was followed in by a plod and the subsequent ticket must have made his evening.. looked like a 4" x 1 1/2" number plate is not good for the wallet. Two bands played the usual rebel hell etc numbers, plenty of food outlets looked mega busy, the Harleys looked a bit like plastic models... the Buell tank was plastic!! lots of young ladies in leather this year (make mental note) solo on noisy bikes too... nice... not all rockers, several busa's blackbirds and suprisingley at least three Vmax's spotted!!! a good night out in all...

sounds good.  Should put on a weekend though.  Get more people going from further away - or maybe that's why.

Heh! the route doesn't look that bad (a good mix of roads) and I've got some secure parking so it looks like a nice rideout to work Smile
