    gsxr fairings 750 k7

    Dear Sportsbiker members,

I slid my gsxr 750 k7 on track recently, right hand side. Some questions:

    - how can I easily find out what the part numbers are for the fairings I need to order ? is there a website somewhre I can easily put in my bike and it tells me what the part numbers are ?

    - does anyone produce carbon ribre road fairings for a gsxr 750 k7 in the UK ?

     - can carbon fibre fairings be painted to the colour of choice ?

    - what are the pros and cons of carbon fibre ?

    - what exactly is a "double bubble" screen ?

    Thanks,

    Tolga

    Re: gsxr fairings 750 k7

As kwacky said, there's plenty of places that offer race plastics.  I think it would be the better option than expensive carbon fibre panels on a track bike.  These normally come white, and can be sprayed what ever design you want.

A double bubble is good for keeping the wind off as its easier to tuck behind on track.  On road some people dont like them so much as when commuting (when you sit more upright than racing) it deflects the wind into the head rather than chest.

I'll keep my ears open for any fairings - but ebay is your best bet.

Welcome to the site. sorry  about the spill.
