Re: Oi j1 / D6 when the bikes coming

I picked mine up last weekend, love it to bits, Still running it in so can't rev it more than 5.5k or use full throttle but the first service is booked in for next Thursday! I have a pic of it on my phone but I can't get it off at work, might pop downstairs later to take a pic with a works camera. Got a few plans for it too, nothing blingy though Smile

Re: Oi j1 / D6 when the bikes coming

A couple of pics. I'm not doign too much to it though

    - Fit tail tidy (already have this, just need to fit it)
    - New bar end mirrors. I can see fluff all out of these and they're dog ugly. There's a triple at work with them on, see picks below.
    - Change exhaust eventually, possibly fit PCIII if I can be arsed. For for geeky reasons rather than performance.
    - Fit small hugger (to stop crud hitting rear shock)
    - Fit front mudguard extender (to protect water rad and pipes)
    - Have alarm fitted (booked in next Thursday for service + alarm)
    - Fit water rad shield to protect it
    - Various R&G bobbins
    - Clear tank protector

Oh, might fit a belly pan as well. I don't like bling but I don't mind making the odd aesthetic change Smile

Very nice! imagine you will have trouble trying to squat down behind the screen for wind protection Big Smile

Re: Oi j1 / D6 when the bikes coming

I'd have trouble squatting behind any fairing Tim!!! On a bike I'm like an 18 stone parachute Tongue Tied

Re: Oi j1 / D6 when the bikes coming

Looks good.  It does need a belly pan and some new cans.  Not much to change apart from that.

I agree, should be sorted in a few months. Do you reckon carbon cans or stainless? Round or oval?

Re: Oi j1 / D6 when the bikes coming

    titanium oval IMO

Carbon would look too OTT. Plus you get away with titanium as old bill often think they're standard.
