I went to see Neil Young at the Manchester Apollo last night.

What a fantastic gig...he did and hour of acoustic stuff on his own to start with ..then an hour and a half of full-on electric rocking with his band, Crazy Horse.

The man is a feckin genius..bearing in mind he is 62 and nearly died from a brain aneurysm a couple of years ago. You can see why he is nicknamed 'The Godfather of Grunge'.

Makes you wonder how many more years some of the elder statesmen of rock can go on now though.
