jdaddycool:
forcast heavy rain for tomorrow. Just spoke to 'Karen' at hottrax and she said its still going ahead...... cross them fingers baby!!!
Dont feel to confident hittin the track (not literally) in the wet and i'm sure if it was to bad they would call it off but if it gets cancelled i have read on their terms etc. that i gets zero refund. A bit more planning maybe on my behalf or dont book till a couple o days before? But how much can one really plan around the great british weather eh!
Well, here's hopin......

Hi JD,
I wouldn’t let a the possibility of bit of rain put you off if I was you there are positives I actually like the challenge in the wet as long as it’s not cold as well with it (which it shouldn’t be) You also find that most riders take a little easy as well when it’s wet so for your first trackday that again should be a positive the worst possible case is when it’s dry to start and it starts spitting with rain then your not sure if it’s wet or dry and it’s usually when you see a few sat in the grass.
The last advantage (for me) is that I get to wear my PVC bodice in public when it rains on trackdays. The best £50 I ever spent
