    Oxford ride

    Whose up for doing a ride oxfordshire way.  Come on nad thats your home turf Stick out tongue and we have members in Reading too Wink.  Must be nice to potter through Henley on thames etc and check out the tottBig Smiley

    I'd definatly be up for that.. Have a lot of work to do round the house at the moment and have deadlines to meet so would need a bit of warning to plan it in.

    If the pen is mightier than the sword then my keyboard must be a weapon of mass destruction ??

    I can do Sunday, i can't plan a route though don't know the roads. Lets go on a totty cruise (scarlet that includes you ogling the boys too :) )

     I know quite a few good roads, unfortunately they are only around 45 minutes long each and I havent really worked out nice link roads from one route to another. So if you have a route in mind ket I could maybe suggest diversions along it.

     

    A4074 Oxford to Reading is good, my fave, although can be busy at times

    B4494 Wantage to Newbury is good too, but can be very windy, no cops or traffic though.

    B4057 Wantage to Ashbury is pretty cool, but roads can be mucky and tight.

     Ill ask a friend about a long route, I usually just follow him.

    Parts of the 4074 are good if you get a clear run, the bit I really enjoy (just at the reading end) has got double whites, you have to be really lucky to get a clear run through..

    I've got a BBQ on the saturday but providing i don't need to start off at half past daft it should be ok..
