    FAO D6

    http://www.h-e-l.co.uk/HEL_Performance_Motorcycle_Brake_Lines_Brake_Doctor_Brake_Bleeding.htm

    All you need to know

I've not heard of the complete circuit way before. Sounds a bit risky to me.

Is D6 going to bleed his own brakes or something?

    Re: FAO D6

It's not difficult but it does take a bit of patience. Have a go with the rear brake first..if you manage that then the front will be ok to do as well but if you don't get it to work, then you can ride somewhere to get it fixed...you can't do that if you mess the front up. I would offer to help but not sure what i'm doing yet this weekend!

    Re: FAO D6

Is it recommended to change the lines too?  I'd rather not, but what is the life of the strandard lines?

    Re: FAO D6

No, you should be fine. The D600 has rubber covered steel lines. They should last several years.

Good oh.  That doesn't sound too bad to do.  I actually have a fast bikes dvd somewhere showing how to do it too. Might spend this weekend servicing my bike then.

    Re: FAO D6

It's easy to do.  Get some decent brake fluid and a tube or a brake bleeding kit from Halfords. Just take your time when you do it.

Bleeding nipples make it alot easier if your on your own. They are basically one way valves.

Bleeding nipples?  I think I get that when I play footy in winter, and the shirt rubs on them.

    Did I bollox. Confused

I never had time to be honest. Finally had an offer on the house - so spent saturday at a mortgage advisor and viewing houses.  Then went out for a Birthday to Wolvo sat night.  Then woke up feeling rough today - and the weather has been crappy.  Keeps raining and I aint got a cover to work under. Well there is a carport, but it leaks.
