TT superbike PS2 *** graphics are poo *** say no more *** nudge nudge ***

sorry if this has been discussed before .. i'm in three minds to get ...I have a PS2... but also like Xbox360 multiplayer so i may just wait until that platform version comes out anyway... for the road racers out there...

     UPDATE

well.... it arrived on Saturday and if you are used to GT4/Forza2 style graphics then this might not be for you!! thinking i could tour the Island and watch out for all the landmarks I was bitterly disapointed, in my veiw this is going nowhere fast... its not a learning tool its a game that you need to graduate up through the levels until you reach the dizzy heights allowing you access to the tracks, I dont have that much spare time to take on a boring ride round the next left hand bend in under 2.876 micro seconds to enable the next lesson..... my two bobs worth unfortunately.... roll on SBK '08....

that's not a bad price for PS2 game.

Are these racing games any good?  I've never really bothered with them. What's the playability like?

What's the difference between this and the original PS2 game? Just updated bikes etc? It's a shame they haven't developed this for the XBox360 or PS3 otherwise I'd buy it.

I'll stick with MotoGP on the 360 I think and get the 08 one when it comes out. Although I think they're releasing it on the Wii as well which might be fun

Re: TT superbike PS2 out this week

I havent got the first version so cant compare graphics etc, mainly interested in the TT course which I am in awe of and the guys that race there of course...  Xbox 360 multiplayer is addictive.. I just got a 360 and Forza2 as I have a few biker mates that are into playing online until the small hours, takes me back a few years and i'm a couple of million credits behind them but WTF ... its the taking part that counts.....

It's got new tracks - most notably the NW200. Yes

Which game is coming out on the Wii? MotoGP 08 or TT Superbikes?

Cool - a bike game for the Wii  that'll be ace!!!!  Mario Kart has bikes in it (lol) and it's dead good fun using the controller like a handle bar to turn the bikes.  Bloody hard though.

I aint got any bike games (more a pc gamer) so would defo buy that.

me thinks Gadget isn't a happy man.

Oh well, it'll give you more time with your 675 project.

imagine ridge racer.. only more boringSuper Angry

SBK '08 looks a bit more promising and there is a new F1 game to look forward to in 2009

The 675 is begining to worry me, obviously getting more miles under me helmet and trying new things... I need someone with a few thousand hours track time to give it the once over, on entering right handers at speed (50-60) as the bike drops in it seems to want to pogo round the corner, it feels like the wheel is a hexagon shape, have checked the front wheel, it appears perfectly normal, so anyone had similar experiences? Back on the old Divi600 it rides well and to say the other evening I went through the same series of bends flat... (mind the over confident guy on the divi) is beginning to give me doubts about how straight the fork setup is.

    anyways... still learning

Have you checked the front wheel bearings? Also are the discs straight and true?

Re: TT superbike PS2 out this week

It sounds like a suspension problem to me but Bones or Roadrace would be the best to ask.
