Finaly some sense from somewhere in the government

The conserative think tank produced the report below containing recommendations for the transport network.... halle-f#~&?ng-lujah, finally some sense.

I think it might start a rant or two, but if the conservatives start making this policy then they will get my vote.... Interesting read about "climate change" too !!!

No need to panic. Birmingham City Council have just carried out a survery. You'll be pleased to hear there's 25% less traffic on our roads.

Daft bastards probably did the survey during the school holidays.

It's strange how road users are defined as the worst of all evils by the current government...yet they allow airports to expand beyond reason, encourage their own MP's to claim ludicrous amounts of travel expenses and back a campaign to ban plastic bags!!!

How about making airlines pay VAT on their fuel and then charge silly amounts of excise duty on top like we road users have to suffer, rather than allow them to buy it completely and utterly tax-free!

Every time we have an election, i always hope the local candidates will come and knock on the door asking for votes so i can tell them what a useless, egotistical bunch of wasters they are...but they never do!

Woahhh!  Let's not get carried away!  I like my holidays, me.

It's not the airlines that would suffer, it's the likes of us, the person paying Lunn Poly for their hard earned holiday.......us road users Stick out tongue

If fuel carries on going up like it is now, there will be no one left on the roads soon.

Was talking to a receivership company today. They have never ever been so busy! I hope Brown gets another kicking in the by-election today!

It seems he did. It'll just delay the General Election to the last possible moment though... maybe they'll be a vote of no confidence at some point and a leadership challenge.

To be honest Brown can't control the oil price but he's probably quite happy about it at the moment because it'll be covering a few holes in the budget!
